Real Housewives’ Countess Separates From Count

If you watch The Real Housewives of New York City, than you know Luann, er, excuse me, Countess de Lesseps. The former model lives the high life on the New York social circuit as the wife of Count de Lesseps. Well, unfortunately, it looks like her high life, just took a sharp left turn and is heading towards splitsville.

The Count, who is always traveling for business and is never home, has apparently slimmed down, tanned up and took up with a much younger, Ethiopian beauty. And, it appears that he broke it off with Luann via email – how very un-Count like!

A close pal said, “They decided to separate. She got wind he was seeing somebody and he didn’t answer her when she called. He finally sent her an e-mail saying he was with an Ethiopian woman in Geneva and he was serious with her.”

Poor Luann was apparently shocked by this turn of events. They two had just celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary on March 16th. Although the two did not spend much time together, and really did not seem to have any chemistry on the show, Luann never thought this would happen.

The Count and Countess have two children, her rep says, “It is obviously a very difficult time for the countess and count, but they plan to remain friends and their primary focus will be to do what is best for their two children.”

I hope she gets to keep her Countess title, but who gets the housekeeper Rosie? I love her!
