Andy Hallet, the actor who played “Lorne” in the WB’s “Angel” passed away Sunday night due to heart failure. The 33 year-old starred in Angel, the spin off from the hit show “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” from 2000-2004.
According to sources close to Hallet, he had been really into his music lately, and even recorded a few tracks for the Angel Soundtrack. Apparently Hallet’s heart condition had been a ongoing problem for the past 5 years and had started checking himself into hospitals over the passed couple of months.
Hallet passed away at Cedars Sinai hospital in Beverly Hills with is dad right beside him. Out of the entire Angel cast, Hallet was true fan favorite and will be deeply missed.
