Thigh High Boots Are Fierce for Fall

So, you’re not in the mood to wear pants like the pop star of the moment, Lady Gaga? Well, how about some fierce black thigh high boots that have been making appearances on runways with designers from Prada to Stella McCartney dressing their models without pants.

Yes, we are in recessionary times, but does that mean that pants are just not cool anymore?  Well, apparently so because these thigh high boots have an element of rocker style and impractical elegance that is why they’re so in demand for fall 2009.

Even powerful fashion editors such as Lauren Santo Domingo wasn’t able to get her hands on a pair of the hottest black thigh high boots.  And what did she do?  Well after making calls that proved fruitless, she found a pair of over the knee boots, dyed them black, and basically created her own shoes.  A true fashionista always finds the item of the moment.

So, what’s the verdict if you’re not a New York fashionista and still want to wear the it thigh high boots of the moment?  I’d suggest that you do as much browsing/online shopping as you can, and then do like a fashion editor would do, make the look of the moment fit you and your own personal style.

  1. Finally! There is nothing better than thigh high boots to set off an outfiit. The best look is when the dress or top is understated and the boots are the accent! YAYYY! Fall is here in style! We guys are very happy that good taste has finally hit.

Hey Kirk, I’m so glad that a guy like you appreciates style. Thigh high boots make anyone look good. Thanks for commenting.

  3. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been chatted up wearing a tight sweater dress, and thigh boots, with patterned stockings.
