Hostage Shooting

42 year-old Jiverly Voong also known as Linh Phat Voong has been identified by authorities as the Binghamton shooter. Killing 13 and injuring many more, Voong who is of Vietnamese descent, was from nearby Johnson City, NY. Reports confrim Voong entered the American Civil Association building from the front after barricading his car against the rear exit doors.

As he entered through the front of the building he brandished 3 weapons, one 9mm pistol, .45 calibur and a hunters knife. He then shot and killed the receptionist as he made his way to the next room, shooting 2 others. After finding out it was her brother responsible for this massacre, Voong’s sister replied “He shot those people? No no.” She then went on to say that he takes classes there and couldn’t have been the killer.

Police found Voong’s body with his hunter’s knife wedged in the side of his waist on the first floor of the American Civil Association. Although no motive has been discovered, Voong was apparently laid off from IBM just a few weeks ago.

I blame IBM. The treasonous company laid off another 5,000 workers and have shipped their jobs to India. Still I am surprised that this latest slaughter wasn't another Christian Republican extremist hopped up on Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reily.

Spoken like a true idiot liberal that has to blame someone. Why not just say it was Bush's fault you dumb a__. Why don't any of you take responsibilty instead of always blaming someone. I bet you're also on welfare.

It's hard to tell a troll from a true "anti-republican"/liberal. Because i've seen true libs actually make comments along those lines and they were serious about it.

Just a senseless act. A guy loses his job. It'd make a little sense for him to be angry at his boss or co-workers, but instead he shots at people that may very well be like himself (immigrants). The only thing to conclude, is that somebody that doesn't feel a lot of connection to the community may take a job loss in a very bad way.

We don't know all the details yet before we can start labeling and blaming (no matter what your political affiliation). As of this day the latest news is that he was not an IBM employee.

While I am a proud defender of the rights of the poor and oppressed, which makes me an enemy of Bush. O'Liely. Limpballs, etc, who spend most of their time engendering anger in their followers toward immigrants and Democrats, the post from Mr Rice is disgraceful. Frankly, I expect it was posted by a right-wing wingnut attempting to make us libruls look bad.

The post was from a unstable idiot. Period. Liberals look bad by themselves. They don't need any help. Whomever this Rice guy is needs to be tailed and checked as he may be the next one.

I am addressing and have a question regarding Mr Butlers comments. I don't know what "liberals" you have in your mind as examples. How do "liberals" look bad in your judgement? Do they stand for torture in the U.S.? Do they stand for endless war? Help me to understand why you think being "liberal" is a bad thing. Thankyou
