Last night at the Academy of Country Music Awards Carrie Underwood’s dress was the big winner. During the performance of her smash hit “I Told You So” she wore the biggest red dress ever seen on national TV (unverified, but true). In a statement before the ACM’s, Underwood hinted at her extravagant wardrobe choice: “Kind of like water, maybe? Like red water? That sounds scary, doesn’t it? Maybe like lava. It’s like lava. Or icing. Red icing.”
Carrie Underwood went on to win Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year Award, which took place April 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. The former American Idol star also won the Top Female Vocalist award and gave thanks to her professional hockey playing boyfriend from the Ottawa Senators, Mike Fisher.
I admire Carrie Underwood. She came from absolutely nothing, to today’s best country singer! Thats talent!
