The WNBA draft just finished up this afternoon with a few surprising picks. Former University of Louisville champ, Angel McCoughtry took the top honors as the #1 overall pick and will be heading to Atlanta to play for the Dream. Another top pick was Univeristy of Connecticut player Renee Montgomery who will now be playing for the Minnesota Lynx. This year she led the Huskies to an undefeated season which was capped-off with a National Title win on Tuesday. She was the fourth overall pick.

Other top picks include Marissa Coleman from the University of Maryland who will now be playing for the Washington Mystics and Kristi Toliver also from Maryland who will be playing for the Chicago Sky. They were the #2 and #3 picks, respectively.
