I’m obsessed with hair removal. Certain parts of my body I wax, use Nads, or shave. Recently, I came across a little shop on La Cienega in Los Angeles where they do threading. I have never experienced threading, but always heard how great it was, so I decided to try it.
The place is called Vinita’s Beauty & Threading Studio. A small, quaint place that is hygenic, the staff is very friendly, and the prices are extremely reasonable. They also do a loyalty program where your 12th appointment is free! In this economy that’s very helpful.
What’s amazing about threading is the fact that one piece of thread can remove hair in such a quick, but precise manner. Not to mention, when it comes to doing the eyebrows, they don’t just remove the hair, but shape your eyebrows too! I don’t mind waxing, but this is a much less painful, cool way to take care of that pesky facial hair.

how exactly does this work? for some reason i always get this image of an acupuncturist sewing my eye brows off. yet still kind of relaxing, lol. is that at all accurate?
