MTV’s Movie Awards are set to air Sunday, May 31st at 9PM EST at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA. Eminem has been tapped to perform at the awards show which will be right in line after the release of his album Relapse featuring the single and video We Made You.

Additional performers are also set to take the stage, but MTV has yet to make those announcements. Last year performers such as Coldplay and the Pussycat Dolls graced the stage, so MTV will obviously have to top that. Some people are creating the rumor that Britney Spears will perform, what’s the likelihood of that, hmm?

First round of voting has begun to select the nominees for the show. People can vote online or with their mobile phones, announcements will be made on May 4th. Then for the second round of voting, people can choose their favorites before voting closes on May 18th.
