Okay, so its almost swimsuit season and here in Southern California, that means getting off your booty to get to the gym, looking for bikinis that don’t make you look ridiculous, and of course, sunscreen.
Every single magazine article from a famous skincare expert always extols the importance and necessity of a good sunscreen that will protect your gorgeous skin from the harmful Ultraviolet rays from that ever-so-bright sun. And I don’t know about you, but I’ve always struggled with finding the right sunscreen as I have combination skin so sometimes sunscreens are either too greasy or too dry for my skin type.
But as a fan of Aveeno products, mostly because of their oil-free, non-comedogenic nature, I was psyched when coming across Aveeno Positively Ageless Sunblock Lotion. I bought it and tried it on my skin promptly, and was pleasantly surprised because drugstore brands usually make my skin break out as if I was back in high school again. Here’s my review:
Pros: SPF 70, oil-free, waterproof, Active photobarrier complex that provides broad-spectrum protection, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic
Cons: It does leave a white filmy residue over your skin and you have to make sure that you rub it completely into your skin or you’ll look like Casper the friendly ghost.
Overall, I love this product! It’s less than $10 at your local drugstore and has tons of active natural ingredients. Who doesn’t love a good quality bargain?
