We all know the bubbly blonde Kelly Ripa, the co-host of ABC’s “Live with Regis and Kelly,” for her chipper personality and somehow making anything seem likeable. Well, you might also know that she got her start as a soap opera actress and has also starred in her own ABC Sitcom entitled, “Hope and Faith.”
Ripa is taking her knowledge of the TV world and joining forces with the Home Shopping Network for a reality show entitled, “Moms Inc.” The show will air on the TLC network which will also be developed by Milojo Productions, a venture between Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos.
Consuelos says, “Kelly gets sent products all the time from women who want exposure for them, but have no idea where to go with them. The plan is to work with the woman in her home so she doesn’t have to uproot her life. We’ll get them exposure and teach them how to be successful businesswomen.”
The series will focus on entrepreneurial moms who create products, get them manufactured and then sell them on the Home Shopping Network.
As a busy mother of several children herself, Ripa definitely knows what its like to juggle work and family obligations.
