During a time of a collapsing economy, pointless war and horrendous job market, “420″ couldn’t have come any sooner. For those of you unfamiliar with the term “420″ let me explain. 420 stands for April 20th and marks the day of kicking back relaxing and smoking a little “green” aka Marijuana. Although still illegal in the United States, many mall employees, music store clerks and video rental associates celebrate this holiday religiously.

Urban legend has it that 420 was initially started by a group of teenagers, who would meet up after school at around 4:20PM and smoke weed in front of statue. That same statue still stands today and no it’s not of Snoop Dogg.

Much lower than you would expect, only 37% of Americans, ages 12 and older admitted to experimenting with Marijuana at least once in there lifetime. The other 63% reported that they couldn’t remember.
