As I write this blog post, I’m sipping a large iced coffee as the temperature rests in the 90’s outside. In hot weather, nothing beats that refreshing taste of a delicious caffeinated beverage known as an iced coffee on a hot, almost-summer day.

And today, Dunkin Donuts, is declaring April 21st to be “Iced Coffee Day,” and you can get small (16 oz.) Iced coffee drinks for the reduced price of 50 cents at all participating nationwide locations. Not only is this easy on your wallets, but you can also feel knowing knowing that they’re donating 5 cents for each iced coffee purchase to “Homes for our Troops,” a national, non-profit that builds specially adapted homes for severely injured veterans.
