Meghan McCain, daughter of Senator John McCain, graduate of Columbia University, and former Republican Party Presidential nominee, is known for being outspoken as she blogs about her life under the microscope and about the changes that she feels should be made to the Republican Party or GOP.
In the midst of the recent controversy over the passing of gay marriage laws, McCain has a left-leaning tilt to her Conservative speak. She recently spoke to a crowd of Republicans and declared that,
“Breaking free from obsolete positions and providing real solutions that don’t divide our nation further will. That’s why some in our party are scared. They sense the world around them is changing and they are unable to take the risk to jump free of what’s keeping our party down.”
Being outspoken about the fact that “Old school Republicans are scared shitless,” McCain is not exactly shy about letting her opinion be known. Besides writing her own blog, McCain also writes for the Daily Beast, and makes the media rounds regularly.
She manages to mix her viewpoints about how the Republican party needs to change to meet the times with posts where she talks about how annoyed she is when people focus on her non size-zero body. No matter what you may think of her, McCain has a platform and she’s using it to the fullest.

so she has a platform now too? hope this isn’t as bad as ‘joe the plumber’
haha… Will Joe the plumber ever disappear? I think she’s had a platform since she was born. I mean, look at her dad’s job.
Meghan McCain. Hmmm. I think two things about Meghan McCain. First, I think she should go ahead and officially switch her party affiliation back to Democrat. She may have fooled her daddy for a bit, but she’s not fooling anyone else. Second, I don’t follow her on Twitter, but I did check her Twitter profile after her creepy Karl comment and, frankly, I find her Twitter presence much creepier than Rove’s. Meghan McCain is clearly a progressive, not a conservative. And she does not scare anyone “s__tless.” I think she’s irrelevant, as far as conservative politics are concerned.
