Susan Boyle’s New Look!

Susan Boyle captured hearts across the world after she appeared on “Britain’s Got Talent,” with her dowdy dress and earnest, sweet demeanor.  After much snickering from the audience and the judges, Boyle beautifully sang, “I Dreamed a Dream,” from Les Miserables and promptly shut up her critics.

Well, since her debut, Boyle has had the media hounding her for interviews, millions of views on  youtube, and people from all corners of the world building blogs/fansites devoted to her and what she represents.

This church volunteer’s pictures and video have been spread across the globe, and Susan does acknowledge the fact that she does need to change her look.  She was photographed in a floral print dress and stylish black leather jacket by the UK’s Daily Mail.  So do you see a bunch of Botox and a Hollywood-style makeover for Susan Doyle in the future?

I doubt it.  Susan Doyle’s everywoman sensibility is what adds to her allure and is the primary reason that she’s become so popular.  The fact that her talent shines through, even though she doesn’t have Cover Girl looks, is the reason why so many are cheering for her.  As Amanda Holden, the Britain’s Got Talent judge says,

“People want the average woman who shows you dreams are still possible and that hopes will still happen for you.”

Agreed.
