90210’s AnnaLynne McCord BackPacks Through Europe

Fans may know blonde AnnaLynne McCord for her role as Eden Lord on FX’s provocative drama, Nip/Tuck or as rich Naomi Clark on the CW’s “90210.” This Georgia native was actually home-schooled and she grew up as the daughter of a pastor.

She started modeling at an early age, and eventually got roles in shows such as “Greek” and films such as “Transporter 2,” and the “Haunting of Molly Hartley.”  Recently, as her star has risen in Hollywood, McCord has decided to take the summer off and backpack through Europe.

The 21 yr. old has been working on shows non-stop and told People magazine that, “I had several offers for the summer, but I decided there wasn’t anything I really 100 percent wanted to do.  I ended up telling my agent, ‘I’m sorry. I’m not available. I’m leaving. Don’t call me. I need some time and I just want to be by myself for a little bit.’

Backpacking through Europe is one of those rites of passage that many college students take as they figure that these types of trips are once in a lifetime.  Backpacking also means things like living on the cheap, staying in hostels, and pretending to know the language of the country you’re in.

That sounds like the perfect summer vacation to me.
