Channing Tatum is a Fighter…Sort of

Channing Tatum is easy on the eyes. Don’t you agree? Originally from Alabama, this chiseled actor actually started off as a model in advertisements for fashion brands such as Abercrombie and Fitch, Dolce and Gabbana, and American Eage Outfitters. Soon after, he found that acting was his calling and he was booking roles in films such as “Supercross,” “She’s the Man,” and “A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints.”
But his star turn as a young man looking to use dance as a way to escape his home situation in the hit movie, “Step Up,” garnered him critical acclaim and the attention of Hollywood producers. Most recently, he stars in “Fighter,” a story about a small-time guy who goes to live in New York City with no money and ends up in the streetfighting circuit. Though he becomes a star street-fighter, he must find out if he wants to stay in this dark world.
It’s hard to believe, but in real life, Tatum says that he’s on the quiet side and enjoys spending time by the pool. He is grateful that the paparazzi leaves him alone saying, “I don’t hang out very much in those big public places where a lot of people go.”
Tatum is obviously a talented young actor with his star continually on the rise, and with his recent engagement of “Step Up,” co-star Jenna Dewan, life is pretty good for him.
Let’s see what the box-office says.
