The always stylish, adorable actress and designer, Rachel Bilson will be adding style columnist to her resume as it has been announced that she will be writing a column for InStyle magazine.
The actress came into the public eye on Fox’s teen soap, “The OC” where she played the ever-sunny Summer who was in and on-again/off-again relationship with her co-star, Adam Brody. Soon after the show ended, she starred in “The Last Kiss,” with Zach Braff and “Jumper” with Hayden Christensen. From then, she and Christensen began dating and they recently announced their engagement.
Bilson is also a regular at New York’s Fashion Week with her innate style sense and ability to make an outfit out of vintage and designer pieces. This allowed her to design her first clothing line, Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans which was released last September.
People reports that Bilson will be writing the monthly InStyle column in which she’ll answer reader style questions and also talk about her personal favorite items. She says, “I can talk about fashion all day long, and I am an avid InStyle reader so the relationship seemed perfect! This column is the best homework assignment ever!”
Her first column will appear in the May 2009 Issue.
