Product Review Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor

Every woman looks good with a bit of lipcolor, whether its a sheer pink lip gloss or a deep plum lipstick. The only problem is that colors do fade and you might find yourself running to a meeting and unaware that your lipcolor has faded.  Not a good situation.

Well, I’m just like you and have gone to meetings where I need to apply lipcolor quickly and know that it won’t fade quickly.  So, I picked up Revlon ColorStay Overtime at the drugstore and was very skeptical because how could this last for the whole day?

First in terms of packaging, I liked that the actual color tint is on one end and the gloss is on the other end.  Pretty and simple.  I think application is easy and quick, and was surprised how much it actually works to keep my lipcolor from fading for a few hours.  The only drawback was that the product tends to dry out and you have to continually rub your lips to make sure that it stays moisturized.

If they could fix that, then I’d definitely recommend this product for long-lasting lipcolor.  I wouldn’t say that it lasts the entire day, but it lasted for about 5 hours for me, until I had to re-apply.

Overall, a good deal, but re-application is needed.
