Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick Pregnant..via a Surrogate

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick

Sarah Jessica Parker, 44, the actress best known for her role as style icon and relationship columnist Carrie Bradshaw in the uber-popular “Sex and the City,” and Matthew Broderick, 47, currently starring on Broadway in “The Philanthropist,” will be adding twins to their brood via a surrogate. They recently released a statement via their representatives saying, “Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are happily anticipating the birth of their twin daughters later this summer with the generous help of a surrogate. The entire family is overjoyed.”

The couple who had been unsuccessfully trying for years to conceive another child and eventually decided to use a surrogate.  It is reported that the surrogate is a 26 year old divorcee who is being paid thousands of dollars to carry their twins and she is due in late summer.

Parker also starred in the hugely successfully box office hit, “The Sex and the City Movie,” and is currently prepping to star and produce in the sequel.  She is currently filming “Did You Hear About the Morgans?” with Hugh Grant.  Her husband Matthew Broderick most recently starred in “Wonderful World.”

The couple has been married since 1997 and currently reside in New York City with their 6 year old sold James Wilkie Broderick.

    44 and 47? Yeah, that's not going to work too well naturally. Or if it does, the baby has a real good chance of developmental disability. really, at that point, it's probably best just to adopt
