Chris Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, indicated at court on Wednesday that he intended to file a motion to dismiss the case because of police leaks in the investigation. The leaks and details he is referring to, are the police photo that TMZ.com obtained and also other websites publishing details listed on the official police report.
Mark Geragos had asked that the preliminary hearing be pushed back to give more time for investigating. US Magazine reported;
Attorney Mark Geragos says he plans to file motions at court involving police discipline records — which suggests he will seek dismissal of the case because of police leaks in the investigation. (In February, Los Angeles police launched an internal investigation to determine who released a picture that shows a bruised and battered Rihanna the night of the Feb. 8 attack.) Mark said, “The leaks can form the basis for a motion to dismiss the case in regards to outrageous governmental misconduct.”
Letting Chris Brown off because the media somehow obtained official information and photos is beyond ridiculous and I really hope that he ends up charged with the crimes he committed. I definitely do not think it was smart nor okay for the media or bloggers to publicly release any official police information regarding this case but, it is too late now…and by no means should/can this mean Brown is less guilty.

that's the way the law works. just happened with the corrupt Senator Stevens up in Alaska. but really, if the prosecutors mess up, it's their own damn fault. should know better. still, really shitty if Brown gets off.
