David Beckham Designs Clothing Line

David Beckham is pretty hot.  He’s a muscled up footballer (Sorry, I meant a soccer player) from the UK who currently plays for the Los Angeles Galaxy and he definitely received a pretty penny to join the team.  In 2007, Beckham reportedly signed a $250 million deal in salary and endorsements to join the Major League Soccer team, but things have not panned out as planned.

The LA Galaxy has had a series of losses, and Beckham’s contract has a clause that would allow him to walk away from the LA soccer team after 2009, if he desires.  In the meantime, Beckham has made a foray into the world of  fashion design.

He recently teamed with Undefeated designer James Bond, on the fall/winter line of men’s apparel for Adidas Originals.  He’s also appeared in a recent Adidas commercial.  Beckham is a fan of the La Brea-based store that carries exclusive sneakers and street wear, and the two have created a line that is classic American sportswear encompassing various fabrics from leather to silk.  Perhaps his wife, Posh Spice, has had an effect on his sense of fashion and style, as she’s a regular at Fashion Shows across the world.

Unfortunately, the photogenic David Beckham will not be appearing in ads for this new line of menswear.  Women everywhere are depressed everywhere, I’m sure.
