No Doubt Performs on The Today Show

I’m definitely a fan of No Doubt and remember when Gwen Stefani rocked out to “Don’t Speak,” from the hit album, “Tragic Kingdom,” which took her relationship pain and turned it into an anthem for those who were experiencing just that. Originally from Anaheim, CA, the band consists of Tony Kanal, Adrian Young, and Tom Dumont. Most recently, they decided to reunite and performed on NBC’s “Today Show,” to a huge crowd of cheering fans.
I remember when Gwen used to sing lyrics to “Just a Girl,” and I’d sing along with the lyrics because anyone could relate. She’s the ultimate guy’s girl and talks about being a fly on the wall in “Hey Baby,” or about vulnerability in “Underneath it All.”
Gwen and the rest of the band are still looking good as they performed today in New York City. They were wearing 80’s inspired rock garb and performed “Spiderwebs,” before ending with “Don’t Speak,” and “It’s My Life.” Most recently, they shot an episode of the new Gossip Girl TV Show spin-off as the fictional band called “Snowed Out.”
As for fan reaction to the reunion tour, there are definitely those who think that “No Doubt,” should just stay in the past and shouldn’t make new music. I mean, Gwen Stefani did have success as a solo artist, but watching them perform onstage again made you wish they would just go back into the studio and make those dance hits again.
