David Hasselhoff Hospitalized for Drinking

Rumors were swirling this weekend that David Hasselhoff drank so much that he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and treated for alcohol poisoning. According to RadarOnline.com, Hasselhoff’s 16-year-old daughter, Hayley found him passed out on the floor and frantically called her mother, Pamela Bach, who also happens to be the bitter ex-wife of Hasselhoff. She lives 10 minutes away, so she rushed over and drove David to the hospital.

Apparently, Hasselhoff was barely breathing when he reached the hospital, and his blood alcohol level registered a whopping .39. A source said Hayley kept “slapping her dad’s face” to keep him alive. “He was barely breathing when they got him at the hospital.” Sources also say that David has been hospitalized at least 10 times over the past few years for alcohol poisoning.

Hasselhoff’s peeps are saying that this whole situation has been blown out of proportion. They say he had an illness and did drink some, which made him feel worse, causing him to visit the hospital. His rep, Judy Katz, said, ” David is fine and well and happy and is celebrating his father, Joe Hasselhoff’s 80th birthday tonight at dinner… along with his girlfriend, Kimberly.”

Mel Goldsman, Hasselhoff’s attorney, is claiming ex-wife Pamela Bach leaked the story and is “in violation of the court’s order precluding contacting the media regarding her ex husband.”
