Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard Get Married!
In a bit of happy news in the celebrity world, actress Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard were reportedly married on Saturday evening in an intimate wedding in Italy. Attendees included Maggie’s brother, Jake Gyllenhaal, best known for his roles in “Brokeback Mountain,” and the indie film, “Donnie Darko,” who attended with his girlfriend, actress Reese Witherspoon of “Legally Blonde,” and numerous other hit films.
Maggie Gyllenhaal who is one of Hollywood’s leading ladies and manages to mix indie sensibilities such as roles in “Secretary,” and her harrowing role in “Sherrybaby,” with roles in big-budget films such as “The Dark Knight.” Her husband, Peter Sarsgaard, is also another respected actor who is known for his wit and acting abilities in films such as “Boys Don’t Cry,” and “Garden State.”
The two have been together for four years and currently have a 2 1/2 year old daughter named Ramona. In Tinseltown, where couples get together and break up via their publicists, couples like Maggie and Peter are among the few that seem to have their heads on straight.
Is it because they reside in New York City or just the fact that they’re just two people who seem to really be right for each other?
