As we head towards the summer, what are you usually thinking about with regards to your skincare regimen? Well, you should probably be thinking about sunblock application or perhaps a lighter moisturizer.  And of course, a good daily facial cleanser that exfoliates and still manages to not dry out your skin.

Usually when I find a good cleanser I like, I never switch brands, but after a friend told me the skin benefits that she’d gotten after continually switching products, I thought, “Why Not?”  She told me about her current favorite exfoliating cleanser called “Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser,” which is from Suki, a line of all-natural, organic skincare products that you can get online or at your local health food stores.

It comes in a medium sized pot and has ingredients from lemongrass, natural sugar, is vegan, and is an AHA natural rejuvenator.  Well, all these ingredients sound great, but I was thinking, “Does this stuff work? I mean, does it cleanse and gently exfoliate your skin on a daily basis without making your face red and blotchy?”

That is, as we all know, the real question.  So, I tried out this product for a few days and really loved the light, citrusy scent as well as the gentle exfoliating beads.  It is true that if you have a good cleansing regimen, you don’t need lots of fancy products.  And I’m happy to report that this cleanser really did the trick in terms of keeping my skin clean, not making my skin break out, and somehow making it a bit more rosy.
