Victoria Principal VS Her Maid

“Dallas” star Victoria Principal is being sued for allegedly pulling a gun on a maid. TMZ.com reported that:

“the woman who played Pamela Ewing is being sued by Maribel Banegas, the former maid at Victoria’s Malibu home. Banegas claims she had taken the dog for a walk — when she returned home to an enraged Victoria who couldn’t understand why it took so long….Banegas explained the dog wouldn’t poop. According to the suit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Victoria fired Maribel on the spot. Maribel asked for her final check and Victoria went upstairs, allegedly only to come down with a gun, “which she then pointed and aimed” at the maid. The suit claims Victoria “verbally threatened to kill plaintiff”… and asked another housekeeper who was present “to stand aside in order that she could kill the plaintiff.” The maid claims assault, false imprisonment and emotional distress. She wants unspecified damages.”

Then, today the drama just gets better! TMZ.com reported that Victoria Principal has also filed a lawsuit. Victoria did admit that she pulled a gun on her former maid but, only after the maid threatened her, and injured her dog during a wild fit. Principal’s lawsuit also states that;

“the actress says on December 26, 2008, the maid was told she was fired and flew into a rage and “repeatedly slammed the back door with such force that…the door frame itself was damaged.”

The suit “claims” Victoria was so terrified, she went upstairs to her bedroom and retrieved a handgun, came down and told the maid to leave. The maid allegedly started pounding the kitchen counter and began shouting. She walked toward Victoria, who then “cocked the handgun and told Banegas to leave.” That did the trick. Kinda. The maid ran in the guest house, locked herself in and Sheriff’s deputies had to come and remove her.

The next day, Victoria found her 16 pound dog “writhing in pain.” The vet said the dog was suffering from “stress-induced gastritis.”

Victoria is suing for unspecified damages.

Oh man…how about NOT hiring a maid and having them do simple things you could easily do for yourself. Next time, don’t act like such a diva, let your maid clean and you walk your own DOG!
