By now, you ladies and gents might know that I love beauty products and like to save money while doing so. I think everyone feels like this these days. But there are times when you need a product that not only moisturizes your skin but also makes it glow and feel hydrated. So, let’s say that you have a big meeting/interview/presentation tomorrow and are looking for a face mask that will take away your skin impurities and make your complexy all glowy and fabulous. Well, I’m still on the lookout for that perfect product, but came across this product at Walgreens and was floored by the results. The brand is called Face Shop and its a South Korean brand that focuses on all-natural ingredients. There are various types of face masks, but this particular one sort of called out to me, as I always like things that promise to “clarify and illuminate,” my skin.
It’s the “Pearl Essential Mask Sheet,” and it contains pearl essence which is rich in calcium and helps to illuminate, clarify and hydrate skin. The wording on the packaging also emphasized that its focus is to help create clear skin which is something that everyone wants.
I had a meeting the next morning and considering that it was $2.50, I thought it couldn’t hurt to try. So, I went home, washed my face and applied this mask which is like cotton soaked in this face solution. I do not recommend using this mask in front of guys or anyone who will not understand why you’re using a face mask. (I scared my brother once by using this mask in front of him)
Anyway, I left the mask on for about 20 minutes, and then went to sleep. The next morning, I was happy to report that my skin did look more refined and as if my face had been drinking water all night. Now, this mask doesn’t substitute for proper nutrition and rest, but it really did make a difference in the matter of a night’s sleep.
Let’s just say I was a bit more confident at my meeting and I’ll definitely be using this product again.
