Kate Gosselin Defends Her Husband
Kate Gosselin — mother and wife of TLC’s latest hit “Jon & Kate Plus 8” — is now making the talk show rounds in response to recent allegations of a spicy affair. That affair being an alleged relationship between her husband Jon and Deanna Hummel, a 23-year-old elementary school teacher. However, both Jon and Deanna deny the relationship and it now appears that Kate does too. Or at least publicly.
Earlier this morning on the “Today Show” Kate said that she was “very hesitant to believe” that her husband was in any way cheating on her and that she’s taking the reported affair with “a grain of salt.” Still, context matters and the context of the “Today Show” was just Kate. No Jon standing supportively by her side.
Kate went on to say that despite the constant cameras, that they were dealing with the matter privately, and not in the spotlight.
For those of you unfamiliar with the details of the story, last week suggestive pictures came out of Jon and a bikini-clad Deanna. To top it off, Deanna’s brother and roommate Jason publicly charged that Jon and Deanna have been having an affair for several months now.
Deanna of course has denied her brother’s charges and responded saying that her “brother is making this all up” and that he has no “credibility” as he is currently unemployed and has a criminal background. (drug charges apparently)
Not one to quibble, Jason admits to his past problems with the law, but still holds to his claim citing, “I have no reason to lie.”
