Megan Fox, the bombshell actress who is known for her roles in “Transformers,” and “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen,” is also quite matter-of-fact in her interviews. She’s blunt and calls anyone out if she feels like it. Case in point, what she tells Esquire about Scarlett Johanssen, ““I don’t want to have to be like a Scarlett Johansson – who I have nothing against,” she says, “but I don’t want to have to go on talk shows and pull out every single SAT word I’ve every learned to prove, like, ‘Take me seriously, I am intelligent, I can speak.’ I don’t want to have to do that. I resent having to prove that I’m not a retard – but I do. And part of it is my own fault.”
Originally from Tennessee, Fox has come a long way from her small town upbringing. She burst onto the scene with her role as Mikaela Banes in “Transformers,” alongside Shia La Beouf, and is now starring in Diablo Cody’s “Jennifer’s Body.” She also graces the June cover of Elle Magazine and speaks of men and her career.
Men around the world adore her and she knows it. Here’s what she says about male writers, “They’re boys; they’re easily toyed with. I tell stories and have them eating out of my hand.”
She also managed to get her weight down to 99 pounds in preparation for her role in “Jennifer’s Body,” and says, “I decided I would turn myself into a zombie. I got super, super skinny, stayed out of the sun for four months, and got to where I was losing my eyelashes and my eyebrows.”
