Are you unaware of Star Wars? Or Star Trek? Is it all just the same to you with lots of spaceships and talk of galaxies and weird outfits? Do you look confused when your friends who are into Science fiction talk endlessly about the Star Trek Enterprise?
Well, JJ Abrams, that guy behind ABC’s hit show, “Lost,” and many more hit shows and films, has resurrected this Science fiction enterprise into the “Star Trek” movie that is opening today. And from the looks of the trailer, it looks to be a Summer blockbuster that has it all.
Critics are showing the film a lot of love and there are hot new actors in the series including Chris Pine as Captain Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spok, John Cho as Hikaru Sulu and Zoe Saldana as Nyota Uhuru. The film looks to have it all Action, Adventure, Intrigue, and a Love story…all wrapped into one big summer smash.
I’m not a Trekkie, but who knows? Maybe I’ll become one after watching this movie. If you’re completely unaware of “Star Wars,” here are Ten Things You Need to Know.
