Wanda Sykes

Wanda Sykes, the humorous comedian who has no shame when it comes to calling people out whether they might be musicians or Politicians, was the featured comedian at the May 10th White House Correspondents’ Dinner.  Sykes got her start as a performer/writer on HBO’s “The Chris Rock Show,” and had her own show, “Wanda at Large.”

At the White House Correspondents’ dinner, Sykes made jabs at Obama’s racial heritage, but it was her remarks about the Right-leaning Rush Limbaugh that caught the attention of the media.

On Rush Limbaugh- “He just wants the country to fail. To me, that’s treason.  He’s not saying anything that’s different than what Osama Bin Laden is saying.  I think he was the 20th Hijacker, but he was so strung out on Oxycontin that he missed his flight…. I hope his kidney fails.”

On Michelle Obama’s Arms- “How dare you people give her grief about showing off her arms. The country is broke and sleeves cost money…Some of the previous First Ladies, they need to wear sleeves. Some of them need to wear Ponchos.”

On What She Tells Her Kids Regarding Dick Cheney- If two cars come up next to you, one with a stranger and one with Dick Cheney, you get in the car with the stranger.

I'm by NO means a Limbaugh fan, but she should have more sense. She had her shot--it's over for her, no more returns visits. 9/11 is not comedic material. Period. Stupid.
