Okay, here’s the truth. I watch reality TV. Yup, I watch it but only when I’m at the gym because my mind needs to zone out and not be active. One of the shows that I ended up watching was Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York City,” which is a show that is fun to watch because these women have lots of money and there is always drama. As we all know, nothing makes a reality show like some good ol’ drama. The fit Bethenny Frankel, a natural foods chef, is one of the ladies on the show and she wrote a book called, “Naturally Thin,” which focuses on natural, raw foods as well as diet/health tips to get you into your skinny jeans.
Frankel gives tips such as: Your Diet is Your Bank Account- She says that you should think of your diet as your bank account where you take money out and also save. So, you should think of balancing your diet just as if you’re balancing your checkbook. Taste Everything, Eat Nothing- This is almost reminiscent of the French style of eating which focuses on eating real, whole foods, but just in small portions. If you’re going to eliminate whole food groups or foods that you love, you are most likely headed toward a diet downfall. But if you learn how to just have portion control, you can literally have your cake and eat it too. Okay, well, taste it. Like most diet books, This one will probably sell, but it gives tips that many of us have heard before. It’s just about implementing it into your daily life.

sometimes I wonder how much money is spent on new diets when they all pretty much say the same thing: eat healthy portions (and work out!)
not that hard
