NBC’s Biggest Loser Finale had it all last night. Suspense, redemption, and an unexpected winner. 48 year old Helen Phillips won the grand prize of $250,000 as she’s dropped a total of 140 lbs. since starting the show. She was a member of the Pink Team and was trained by hard-core fitness trainer, Jillian Michaels.
The Biggest Loser is a reality show that pits overweight contestants in various competitions to see who can lose the most weight, in order to gain the grand cash prize. But many of the viewers who watch the show usually watch for the motivational stories of watching these contestants fight to change their lives and re-gain their health.
Coming in second was Jerry Hayes, 64, who lost 177 lbs and won $100,000.
Well, what’s next for Helen Phillips? Phillips tells People that , “I really, really, really want to take my husband to the Bellagio in Las Vegas! I really want to take him there for a nice break because he has been such a support system to me. I want to lay by the pool, go out to lunch, and be able to go work out in the middle of the day and have a nice salad somewhere and relax!”
