A silly ring my husband made for me when we were in High School together. He made it in shop class + it's pretty rinky dinky but he put so much time + effort into it. Now I let my little lady wear it around...

Rings, on the whole, have the most significance to me. It's because I can see them the best. The most significant piece I own belonged to my grandmother. Now that she has Dementia, it reminds me of the good ol' days when she was still herself and out-n-about.
Oh by the way, Hilary's other work is really beautiful and diverse. I can see why she would be your featured artist. I will have to keep her work in mind for gifts for my friends.

My ma's original wedding ring... it isn't worth a lot and the diamond are cloudy, but it's what my dad could do at the time... as soon as he became more successful (as a jeweler) he replaced it with something nicer.... but I appreciate the original more =)

The most significant piece of jewelry is my grandmother's ring. She died when i was young. My grandparents were married for over 30 years. The gold on the ring is worn down and thinned from being worn. It also lost the circular shape. I love it because it was my grandmothers but i love it more because of the imperfections caused by it being on her hand for so many years.

Hillary beautiful work.

My mom's wedding ring. I I now have it on my finger and will never take it off. When I pass away I want my oldest daughter to have it and hopefully it gets passed down from there. Thank you!

A petite necklace made by freshwater pearls which is a birthday present from my dad. Although it didn't cost much, but it symbolises his love for me.

I bought 4 or 5 pairs of the earrings designed and created by Hilary Hahn. I gave them as gifts. All my friends LOVED them. They are so unique and eye catching!

Gosh - hard to pick my most significant piece - but I'm going to go with the Emerald promise ring my mom gave me many years ago. Her high school sweetheart had given it to her. Just yesterday I took it to an appraiser to get a quote on it - thinking I might use the stone and turn it into a pendant - only to find that it was "synthetic"! Did I want to sell it to them for the value of the white gold? No way! I kind of like the ring even more now for some weird reason - and it's a good thing that my mom didn't end up with that guy!!

The most significant piece of jewelry I own is a ring my father bought me for my 16th birthday. It is a simple gold band with two teeny-tiny diamonds in it. He said that my father should give me my first diamond, and my husband the next.

The most significant piece of jewelry you could adorn yourself with is.... yourself. Remember that you are the real gem and then whatever you put on will definitely sparkle!
