ABC News reports that a 66 year-old Elizabeth Adeney is set give birth later this month in what could be the oldest woman to ever give birth. After taking the controversial IVF treatments last year, the UK native is more than financially stable through her job as Managing Director of a plastic textile company.

Although legal in some parts of the world, IVF treatment is quite risky for women Adeney’s age. Most doctor’s and clinics around the UK refused treatment to Adeney, noting the obvious reasona. She ended up flying to Ukraine where IVF treatment is readily available.

Adeney is expected to give birth next month, a few weeks before her 67th birthday. When asked what her reason’s for having a baby were, The Sun reports “…She told friends she wanted a child to inherit her money.”
