Last night, news of the tragic death of rap up-and-commer Roderick “Dolla” Burton, brought with it shock and headlines, but unfortunately no arrests. Fortunately, that has now changed: 23-year-old Aubrey Louis Berry was picked up late Monday evening and was charged and arrested in connection with Dolla’s death. Burton was found and arrested by police at Terminal 1 of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). At the time of his arrest he was carrying a loaded 9 millimeter on his waist. He is now being held with a $1 million bail.
According to reports, as local police approached Berry, they asked “Do you know why we’re here?” to which Berry replied, “Yes, I’ve got a gun in my waistband. Don’t shoot me.”
