I live in Los Angeles where hipster style is more normal than not. So, that means that skinny jeans are uniform, or leggings with some sort of billowy print dress, are seen from areas of West Hollywood to Los Feliz and yes, some parts of West LA. So basically, I’m surrounded by leggings and skinny jeans from all directions.
Well, famed trendy UK retailer, Topshop, recently made their way to the States with Kate Moss opening their New York flagship store. They’ve also introduced a new word to the Fashion dictionary called, “Jeggings,” which are Leggings + Jeans in one very tight package. “Jeggings” are made from cotton, polyester and spandex that would make quite possibly the tightest aggregation of fabric around your lower half.
With the influx of 80′s trends that will not be going away anytime soon, it looks like “jeggings” will be here to stay. Note: In order to prevent “muffin top,” it is probably suggested that you wear more of a loose-fitting top over these frightfully tight pants.
