Yes folks, it’s that time of year again where all the celebrities gather in the French Riviera for the Annual Cannes Film Festival. This years Highlights include adding a new chapter to its history, the festival launched for the first time with a 3D animation – DisneyPixar’s “Up” – meaning the 3D glasses will be as compulsory as the black ties.
“We are happy to have 3D open Cannes, as it is one of cinema’s upcoming adventures,” said Fremaux.
There’s also a ton of buzz around Tarintino’s second war flick, Inglourious Basterds starring Brad Pitt and the late Heath Ledger’s unfinished stint in Terry Gilliam’s “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus”, being screened out of competition.
