Adam Lambert may have lost Idol however, it may not be the end of his career by a long shot. Rolling Stone magazine had an e-mail exchange with Queen’s guitarist Brian May and it seems like the AI contestant has left quite some impression on the 70’s rock band.
According to the Rolling Stone;
“Amongst all that furor, there wasn’t really a quiet moment to talk, but (drummer Roger Taylor) and I are definitely hoping to have a meaningful conversation with (Lambert) at some point. It’s not like we, as Queen, would rush into coalescing with another singer just like that. It isn’t that easy. But I’d certainly like to work with Adam. That is one amazing instrument he has there.”
This could be great news for Lambert because not only has the band not had a steady frontman since 91′ but, almost every person who has gone on to win Idol has pretty much done NOTHING with their career (minus Kelly Clarkson).

Queen with a runner up from American Idol as the lead singer... to replace Freddie Mercury? What the F^%$!?!?! Brian May and Roger Taylor must have smoked a half ton of crack if they think that some degenerate from American Idol should be the new lead singer for Queen. If this happens I am going to staight-up torch every Queen record/CD I own. Seriously. As sad as it is that the music industry has lowered itself to using a stupid reality telivision show to find it's... *gag* "talent" *gag*... it is about 10,000 times sadder to see a ligitiment and formerly great band try to recapture the limelight using one of their rejects as a lead singer. Especially when it's Freddy Mercury... arguably the greatest front man of all time.

I have nothing in particular against Adam or AI, but the very idea of trying to replace Freddie Mercury with anyone makes me want to gag. He is simply irreplacable!
