Marilyn Monroe is known as one of the most beautiful, iconic actresses in American history with the ability to mix her innocence with sexiness. She was born as Norma Jeane Mortenson on June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles, California and worked at a factory assembly line before being discovered by photographer David Conover. Soon after, she began to book modeling gigs and then began to pursue acting as a full-time profession.
She had roles in such films as “Gentleman Prefer Blondes,” and “How to Marry a Millionaire,” all while capturing the world’s attention with her innocent voice and external glamor girl looks. Norma Jeane Mortenson became Marilyn Monroe and it was said that she had relationships with John F. Kennedy Jr. as well as famed New York Yankee Joe DiMaggio.
Recently, unpublished pictures of a sweet-looking 24 yr. old Marilyn Monroe were found in the digital archives of Life.com. These pictures were taken before she became a full-blown worldwide star that ultimately ended with her death from drug overdose at the age of 36 years old.
