The House of Juliet in Verona, Italy will soon be used as a venue for weddings, as city officials have announced they want to make Verona a top wedding destination, much like Vegas. While evidence confirming the balcony’s home is sketchy at best, couples can still live the fantasy of being married on the iconic balcony where Juliet called for her love to be, Romeo.
How much does it cost? One thousand Euros for Europeans and just three hundred more for foreigners to have the same opportunity. The price includes the house for the ceremony and they balcony and courtyard for magnificent photo opportunities.
Luca Ceccarelli, a Hella Verona Footballer, and his wife Irene Lanforti are the first couple to celebrate their wedding on the famous balcony where Romeo wooed Juliette.

Um, this is cool and all, but, uh… Romeo & Juliet was a fictional story. There is no actual balcony! I mean, if you want to get married there, it looks romantic, but that’s because it’s a pretty place, not cause Juliet actually stood there!
I mean, right?
Ohh… Romantic! They’re going to make a fortune off of renting out this place.
Adriana, they say that’s where Shakespeare was writing about…. In the beginning of the play ‘the Prince of Verona intervenes and declares that further breach of the peace will be punishable by death’. But no one knows for sure if that is the house of Capulet that he was describing =)
