Chace Crawford Set To Do Footloose Remake

Chace Crawford, the handsome Gossip Girl actor, is set to star in the remake of the classic ’80s film Footloose, but that’s not all. He’s also moving forward with the blessings of not just Kevin Bacon, but Zac Efron too! Still, not everyone was convinced. At least not at first.

“I didn’t know what Chace was going to bring into the room,” Ortega told British Web site FemaleFirst.

But when it came down to it, Chace came to impress, and impress he did. So much so, in fact, that Footloose director Kenny Ortega recently noted how Chace had “fully invested himself. It was the most colorful and dynamic and fun audition I think I’ve ever had. And he’s awesome and he’s ready to do this.”

Personally, I can’t wait to see him dancing his ass off!
