My summertime hair routine is to wash my hair as infrequently as possible (usually 2-3x/week), use leave-in conditioner (Infusium, for now) and blowdry rarely. I generally keep my hair up in a clip during the week, or when I exercise, and then I style it on weekends if I’m in the mood!
I actually switch to a less expensive shampoo, sunsilk, it really protects my hair in the sunshine and from the saltwater.
My summer hair care routine is pretty much the same as my spring/winter/fall routine: Lots of hot oil and deep condition treatments and leave-in conditioners. I do sometimes have to wash my hair more though because it gets a little icky when I sweat. And thanks for this awesome giveaway! I would really love to win this kit, I’ve heard so much good stuff about Ojon and I’d love to try it
My summertime hair care is to take extra care. With swimming and the extra sun exposure I shampoo with a mild balancing shampoo, condition with a super moisturizing conditioner, and a hair infusion treatment once a week. Than follow with a sunscreen infused moisturizing strong hold hairspray.
Best wishes to a summer of good hair for all!
I wash every other day and finish with a light leave-in conditioner. I blowdry much less frequently too — only for heavy duty styling.
I always use hair sunscreen! It does make my hair a little bit greasy but it protects them and their color!
I don’t really do anything different in the summer than I do in the winter….with the exception of sometimes bringing my leave-in conditioner to the beach with me. I love the sun induced highlights that summer brings me!
I use pantene pro-v shampoo in the shower, followed by a dab of conditioner. after i get out of the shower, i use a little gel, just to look like i did something. sometime i will use hairspray if no gel is found.
My summertime hair routine calls for less shampoos and more color-enhancing deep conditioners since the sun fades my color quickly. I think I need to find some of this hair sunscreen – maybe it would help!
my summertime hair routine is really strict during the summertime i co wash every other day and moisturise and seal my hair everyday i always condition more in the summer because it cold in the winter i never wear my hair down in the summer i bun bun bun it up and i use conditioner to detangle it and i use light oils before i go outside so the sun won’t damage it i alwayys condition my hair before i swim and i only detangle my hair with my fingers because i am very gentle with my hair
For the months of June, July, and August, I usually use some Redken All Soft shampoo and conditioner or something else thats specifically for dry, damaged hair. When I’m out for a jog, and the temp is >80, I’ll wear a hat of some sort, just for the added protection.
I tend to stay away from Pantene or Neutorgena, as I dont like the more natural ingredient hair care.
I swim a lot during the summer at the shore, so I take good care of my top during the summer months. Im on a tight budget, so I use a line of Dove products to remove the chlorine and etc when I get out of the water. Before going out in the sun, also use sunscreen on my scalp, to protect my roots. If my hair changes color(which it usually does, to a dirty blonde), I do not bother changing the color back until the late fall, to curb any damage. I like the summer though!
i dont really do anything different for the summer, so i guess i’ll just say what i do year round.
after a ten minute shower, during which i put on an Old Spice combination body/hair wash, i use Matrix for Men gel while my hair is still damp. the whole process of “styling” my hair lasts less than a minute, until i find something sorta acceptable, and then im out the door. not very exciting, but i thought i’d share.
I don’t do anything different in the summer than I do in the winter/fall/spring. I have oily hair so I don’t use conditioner but I use KMS shampoo and styling products.
I try to not wash my hair too often in the summer so it doesn’t get too dry.
My comment is on Ojon products. Im 54 years old and NEVER used a product that has been this great in my life. The Ojon products are fantastic and my tinted, brittle hair is cured. Im so proud of my hair now, its just beautiful!!! Thanks for OJON!!! you sold me the rest of my life, no matter what the cost it. I guarantee all you people out there who are skeptical, listen to me. THIS STUFF WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have very curly hair, and my routine for the summer is very different than my routine for colder seasons. After my morning workouts, I co-wash (conditioner) my hair, and while it’s soaking wet, I apply a mixture of a leave in conditioner and a little olive oil to my hair. I use a paddle brus to take out the tangles, and this also helps to form my curl pattern. That’s then followed by the use of a diffuser for about three minutes to dry it a little bit, but it mostly gets dry from being outside. If its really hot out side, during the day I will spray a mist on my hair, which is a mixture of Ojon Hydrating conditioner and water…just to add moisture to my curls.
My summertime daily hair routine is washing my hair with head and shoulders 2 in1 shampoo and conditoner, blowdrying it dry then straightening it. Sometimes when i get out of the shower i use tres semme mousse to add volume .
