Looks like Melissa “Missy” Giove won’t be riding around “high” anymore. Police seized more than 200 pounds of pot from a truck she was driving in New York. The former mountain biking world champion will probably be facing some hefty jail time after this fiasco.
DEA officials believe the 37-year-old Giove had intent on selling the drugs with her partner Eric Canori. It is unclear of the relationship between Giove and Canori, but what is for certain is jail time. When searching Giove’s house in Virgina, police found even more marijuana, about 200 pounds more.
To make matters worse, police also found a 1 million dollar stash in the basement of Giove’s house. I know she wasn’t to happy about that last discovery. I bet she wishes she put the money in a Swiss bank account, so that when she got out she’d be fine. Unfortunately for her that won’t be the case.
Damn, that is some serious shit. Girl got in way over her head.
To clarify your statememt above about her being able to enjoy the money when she gets out. Guess what, she isn’t going to be getting out, she was caught with a total of 400 pounds of the stuff.
