In Paris, France PETA members protested, semi-naked and splattered with blood, against the cruelty of bullfighting. The eye-catching protest took place outside, just in from of the Eiffel Tower. The reason for the PETA-organized protest was to bring awareness about the horrifying nature of bullfighting.
In 2002, Peta organized the “Running of the Nudes” in an effort to save the more than 40,000 bulls who are killed each year. Protesters held banners stating, “The naked truth – bullfighting is cruel.”
