In a last minute attempt to save face for this summer’s blockbuster hit Bruno, Hollywood execs decided to cut a scene in the movie that played off of Michael Jackson. These types of last minute edits are very rare in Hollywood and can only be done when someone of Michael Jackson’s magnitude is lost. The scene in question occurred when Bruno, the flamboyantly gay European fashion correspondent, interviews Michael Jackson’s sister Latoya.

According to reports, Bruno visits Latoya’s home in Los Angeles and steals her cell phone in an attempt to get Michael Jackson’s direct line. No word on whether this actually happened or if it was scripted. Either way, it will not be included in the formal release. However, the movie Bruno has already been released everywhere else in the world with that scene included.

It has become almost commonplace to poke fun at Michael Jackson over the years. From Eminem to SNL, it’s sad to see how much we have torn this man down. Hopefully, we can stop making a mockery of such a gifted talent and let him rest in peace.
