According to one-time Edwards campaign aide Andrew Young, former Presidential Candidate John Edwards and campaign videographer Rielle Hunter not only had an affair – previously confirmed – but they videotaped it as well. Which, is not only stupid, but super gross as well. I mean, just what were they thinking? Is America really ready for their Presidents to have sex tapes? Really?

And yet, somehow, the story only gets worse.

In a new tell-all book titled, “Impossible to Put Down”, Young not only gets us into the greasy details of the campaign, but of the sordid affair as well. He also drops a little bomb as to who the father of Hunter’s child really is. (For those not tracking this story, Young had previously claimed the child as his). The secret father? Why, John Edwards of course!

Apparently Young was so loyal to the cause that he not only kept Edwards secret, but he claimed the child as his own – and he has a family! – and even had Hunter move in with him. I mean, this is some real twisted Soap Opera shit here. Anyway, I guess that loyalty’s now gone, as Young is holding nothing back. And according to the book, that includes a sex tape Young found of Edwards and Hunter (apparently she filmed everything). As the story goes, while Hunter was staying with Young, he came across a box of videos. One of those videos? SEX TAPE.

Oh, and Young also claims that Edwards was planning to marry Hunter as soon as his cancer-stricken wife, Elizabeth Edwards, died. Real nice, dude. And to top it off, they had even planned wedding songs too. (”Secret Lover”, perhaps?).

You think Sanford’s political career is over? Not nearly as over as Edwards’ is about to be.
