Product Review: Make Up For Ever Lift Concealer

As a make-up artist, I get asked for beauty advice all the time and the eyes are always the number one topic. Especially concealing dark circles and keeping concealer from traveling into those pesky little lines. Over the years I’ve tried numerous products and I find that I always return to the little gem I found a few years ago. It’s the best eye concealer that you’ve probably never heard of.
Make Up For Ever Lift Concealer is a lightweight, natural looking, tensine based under eye concealer. Tensine is a wheat protein loaded with Vitamin E. It is designed really with the sensitive eye area in mind although I find it works well on minor blemishes too. It simply melts into the skin easily covering up dark circles and smoothing away fine lines. The best part, no movement. Once it has set it stays put. No powder needed! Although a very oily skin type may want to use a light setting powder.
It comes in five shades and if you can’t find one that matches you exactly, find the shade closest to your skin tone and mix a little of your foundation in on the back of your hand. I find that that the heat from your had warms it up just enough that it glides on smoothly. I like to apply it to the entire eye area including the lid and brow bone to create a nice base for your eye shadow.
I just can’t say enough good things about this concealer. I just love it. I was close to tears the week before my wedding when I went to Sephora and they were sold out. An awesome sales associate took pity on me and searched high and low until she found the last one they had. Wedding Day saved.

Ooo perfect! I’ve actually been looking for a new concealer, and this sounds great. I’ll have to pick it up and let you know what I think. Thanks!
Love the review Melissa. I need to check out this concealer
