As if Lindsay Lohan needs more problems.

The young starlet, known for her party girl image more than her acting prowess, always seems to be in the news for the wrong reasons. Whether its for her on again off again lesbian relationship with Samantha Ronson or for being another one of Eminem’s victims on his latest album, “Relapse,” she’s all ways in the spotlight.

This time, though, things are a bit more serious as the “Mean Girls” star is being sued by a Florida chemist for allegedly stealing the formula for her new tanning spray called “Sevin Nyne” according to the New York Daily News.

The chemist, Jennifer Sunday, says that she just recently figured out the formula for the spray and  is suing Lohan, along with business partner Lorit Simon, “for breach of contract, theft of trade secrets, civil conspiracy, intentional interference with contractual relations and deceptive and unfair trade practices.”

That can’t be good.

As the story goes, Sunday’s company met with Simon’s in January and were in negotiations over the formula and all that legal stuff. Then, according to Sunday’s lawyers, out of nowhere there’s a deal with Lindsay Lohan and the product is out. They just want their fair share of the profits.

Sevin Nyne, which is named after Lohan’s lucky numbers, costs $35 per bottle and was released to Sephora stores this Summer.
