Bruno

Sasha Baron Cohen is back doing what he does best: embarrassing people with an untraceable accent. After the immense success of 2006’s Borat, the brainchild behind Da Ali G Show has brought another larger-than-life character to the big screen: Bruno, a flamboyantly gay Austrian fashionista. Masquerading as a TV reporter, he interviews people from all walks of life, successfully making them uncomfortable. Many reviewers have pointed out that the film’s humor is a bit more mean-spirited than Borat, though one imagines that will only inspire more college-aged males to flock to the theaters.
I Love You, Beth Cooper

For the dudes not old enough to see Bruno, Heroes hottie Hayden Panettiere will have to do. She stars with Paul Rust in this comedy about a nerdy high school valedictorian who declares his love for the hottest girl in school in his graduation speech. Flattered by his words, she promises to show him one last great night in high school (calm down…it’s PG-13).
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Technically it’s not out until next Wednesday July 15, but online ticket sales are already showing that audiences have Harry on their minds this weekend. Going back to a PG rating after the last two installments were PG-13, HP6 (can you believe it?) is a true four-quadrant film. Harry, Ron and Hermione are back to protect their beloved Hogwarts from Voldemort, while also dealing with their brewing hormones. If you liked the last one, you’re in luck; director David Yates is back - and he’s the only one who’s been picked out of the Sorting Hat twice.
